2-2-12 I got a call today from Melodie and she is asking for prayer for Jay's grandson Dakota who has been very sick and
is in the hospital. Dakota is in the hospital for pneumonia and now the doctors have
found what they think is a tumor on his pancreas. Please
keep Jay and her family in your prayers. God's Peace, Love,

mother who suffered from Alzheimer's for the past few years. They are very positive and just need prayers for them all in the transition time and for his mother of course.

She said that Dan has not been doing well and is being admitted to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital. She asked us to pray for him.12/15/11 Please pray for Steve and Josie Hiltz,
and family. Josie's parents' house burned down: Mom made it out okay but
her Dad did not. 12/14/11 Please pray for Linda Gridley's sister Maria (Mary) Ruiz as she is in the hospital for a couple days while they run tests. 11/29/11 Please request prayers for Todd Allen, a Cursillista from 344 this past spring - Todd is in the hospital in ICU on a ventilator. He was
being treated for an open sore on his leg and the OTC pain meds he was taking caused him to have a bleeding ulcer -- he lost
2/3 of his blood supply before he became disoriented and was taken to the hospital. He has improved over the last 24 hours
and they think he will continue to do well, God willing. Any and all prayers would be appreciated. He is at Metro in room
404. 11/27/11 I ask your prayers for some issues that are going on in my family. I ask you to pray that there will be forgiveness and unity. Thank you. -Diane Pline 9-23-11 Mary Werry update Hi everyone, Mary is out of surgery and the doctors were optimistic that the surgery went well. There was a lot of stuff in her lung and they feel that they got most of the junk in her lung. She will be in the hospital for about a week. Praise God that she is better and the surgery went well.
8-3-11 Our brother in law, Kerry Liti Sr., is in desperate
need of your prayers. He has been plagued by one thing after another. He recently had a hernia operation and, as usual for him, it did not go well. He was in pain for too long of a time. Today he got the news that his throat, that is so sore that all he drinks is iced tea, is not just a sore throat, it is cancer. Throughout all of his trials, tribulations, pain and suffering he has not lost faith, he has not cried out against the injustice of one person being put through so much, and he has not asked, "Why me Lord?" Kerry is a wonderful man, he is the husband you want your sister to marry, a father that is an example for all men to follow. A friend in every good sense of the world. this praising but nonetheless sorrowful time for them. She will be dearly missed. 7-8-11 From Jill Marker: As we all know by now, yesterday was an awful day for many families who lost loved ones in the mass murders in Grand Rapids. I graduated with the grandmother who came home and found the first three. Her name is Pat Merrigan Emkens. I ask for prayers for her, for what she is going through and will continue to go through. She needs strength and perseverance at this time of loss. Pat is a very sweet person who just lost her entire family in a senseless act. May she feel God's loving arms surround her with love.
6-23-11 A good Catholic friend's 9 year old grandson, Trevor is gravely ill because of
complications during open heart surgery. Trevor
is now on life support. He and his family need our and our saviors support. 5-27-11 Please pray for Deacon Dale Haloren who is fighting cancer. Please pray for Joanne Schaefer who has Parkinson’s and went into hospice today. 3-27-11 Mary Serna has been in the hospital
for 4 days and getting worse, not better. Let us all say a quick prayer for her recovery and also for MaryKay Wall as she
prepares for a valve replacement in her heart. 3-18-11

1/19/11 Please keep Paul Kam in your prayers. Paul is hosting our February Ultreya and went to the Emergency room
and they put him in the hospital. Paul has been in the hospital for two days and called Nancy to let her know that
Father had change the time of the Saturday night Mass. Here Paul is in the hospital and thinking about his fellow
Cursillistas. Please lift Paul up in prayer. 1/17/11 A young 27 year old named John Flores has been having repeated strokes. The doctors are not sure why this is
happening to such a young man. His family asks prayers. 12-30-10 Please pray for my wife Cathleen. Cathleen will be having Cervical Fusion
(Disc) Surgery at Butterworth Hospital (actually Meijer Heart Center) January 13th. After many tests and pain therapy,
the doctors have decided upon this approach. Due to her swallowing problems (eosinophyllic esophagitis,) the surgery
will be performed from the back of her neck rather than the front and a metal plate with six screws will be attached to
C3, 4, and 5. I had my 15th (final)
radiation therapy (jaw) Tuesday and all is well. Thank you for all your prayers for both of us. Dan and Cathleen Kornacki My sponsor for
Cursillo, my sister Renee lives her 4th day better than anyone I know. Renee is currently in the country of Mymmar on a mission
to bring the Light of Christ to several orphanages. This is a risky venture in that country. We've had no contact with her
since she left on Christmas Eve and I feel led to ask for your prayers for our fellow Cursillista and her fellow missionaries,

been diagnosed with leukemia. Also, Deacon Johnny has asked prayers for a special intention. 12-16-10 Please pray for Todd Strickland, brother of Sue Towery. He has been diagnosed with lung cancer and it has spread
throughout his body. A friend of Diane Pline's daughter Cheri is asking prayers. She has
been married for several years and has not been able to get pregnant. She underwent hormone therapy and is now pregnant
with quadruplets. She is a very small woman and this will be very taxing to her. They so much want to be able
to carry all 4 full term. She is 13 weeks now. Her name is Korey and her husband is Todd. 12-10-10 Please
pray for Sean Retz, he has stage 3 cancer in his mouth and throat. Sean is a friend of Ken Feutz from his go-karting
track.

12-02-10 Please pray for my wife Cathleen. She has been suffering severe pain in her right arm and surrounding areas
for over three months while doctors are trying to decide how, and for what, to treat her. She will be having a myelogram
to identify affected nerves, hopefully next week, and is most likely facing surgery either by a neurological surgeon
or an orthopedic surgeon. We are praying for God's direction as to which course of action we should take. Please pray for me also. I will be starting a series of 15 radiology
treatments for a skin problem Tuesday. Thank you. DeColores, Dan and Cathleen Kornacki

11-17-10 UPDATE Dear Friends in Christ;
On behalf of the children, grand children and great grand children of Helen Ann Walkowski, I wish to express our sincere thanks for your prayers on her behalf. She passed gently into eternal light Tuesday night. We are saddened by our loss and are aware that the next few days will be emotionally difficult, but we are buoyed by our faith and the knowledge that our dear Mother rests in the peace of Jesus Christ. Complications due to sugar diabetes.
10-13-10 My Mother, Helen Walkowski, was brought
into the hospital because of a blockage in her heart.
While there, her kidneys started functioning abnormally. They would not put a stent in her because they found the blockage is only 60% and the walls of her heart are very weak. After recovering from the catherization, she was in good spirits and was joking with the family and doctors, when she had a stroke The stroke affected the left side of her body. I ask for prayers for her as she undergoes an EEG, ECHO cardiogram, MRI and a test for blood clots. Whatever God wills, recovery or death, pray that she is without pain. Also, please pray for my Sister, Sylvia Liti and her Husband, Kerry. They have been and are my Mother's care givers and they have given my Mother exceptional care for many, many years, and are suffering severe emotional distress over this situation. De Colores, Walt 09-23-10 UPDATE Kris's mother passed away today 09-15-10 Kris P's mother is in a nursing home and her health is failing fast.
UPDATE Bonnie has had one lung removed. Recovery is
slow but doing fine. 06-09-10 UPDATE Bonnie will have to go through some more tests before a plan of action is applied. She will make
the wedding. 06-02-10 UPDATE Bonnie is Josie's mother. She has cancer in one lung. She goes in for testing to see if it
is also in her brain. If it isn't in the brain the she is scheduled for surgery to remove part of the lung. Josie and Steve's
wedding is a go unless mom's surgery interferes with mom being able to make the wedding. 05-09-10 For Bonnie Rewa
who has just been diagnosed with cancer.
